Meet Nicole Clingly
Nicole has always known that a well-designed space changes everything. Long before founding Spaces Defined in 2018, she was the person rearranging furniture, studying paint samples, and instinctively seeing what a space could become. That perspective never left—it simply evolved into a career.
Today, Nicole leads a Dallas-based studio known for creating homes that feel relaxed, livable, and quietly elevated. Her work is defined by thoughtful layering—natural materials, balanced proportions, and a level of detail that gives each space a sense of ease and permanence.
She works closely with each client from the very beginning, taking the time to understand not just how they want their home to look, but how they want it to feel and function day to day. Specializing in new construction, large-scale renovations, and full-home furnishing, her projects are designed to feel cohesive, personal, and effortless from start to finish.
When she’s not designing, Nicole is at home in Dallas with her husband Richard, their boys Anthony and Preston, and their Aussiedoodle, Charlie—living proof that the most beautiful homes are the ones that are truly lived in.
